On the second day of the EBC Trek with Lobuche Peak Climb expedition, we will set aside time to prepare and organize the necessary supplies for the mountain adventure. You will visit our office and provide a detailed overview of the 17-day experience in the Khumbu region. You will also meet with your guide to go over any questions or concerns you may have. We will leave the hotel early today in order to take a flight to Lukla’s Tenzing-Hillary Airstrip. The plane will land in Lukla in about forty minutes. We could have to fly from Manthali Airport to Lukla and drive to Ramechhap if it’s the busiest hiking season. After reaching Lukla, we will meet the porter and the rest of the team and start the hike. We would follow the classic Everest base camp route. On the way, we will walk past Chheplung, Thado Koshi, and Ghat villages to reach Phakding, our first overnight stop on this Lobuche Peak Climbing package. Activity: Trek Max. On the fourth day of the Lobuche Peak Climbing with EBC Trek, we will go to Namche Bazaar, which is often regarded as the entranceway to Mount Everest. During our trip, we will cross many suspension bridges and arrive at Monjo, the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. Then we’ll continue our drive to Jorsale, passing through several gorgeous villages and forests along the way. In roughly 5 to 6 hours, we will arrive in Namche Bazaar. This is the fifth day of your 17-day Lobuche Peak Climbing itinerary. Before moving on in this journey, we will spend one more day in this town to acclimate our bodies and reduce the risk of altitude sickness. There are numerous activities to enjoy in town, including exploring the museum, visiting local shops, and dining at restaurants. To make the most of the day, we will take a side trip hike to the Everest View Hotel, which is perched at 13,000 feet, where you will get sweeping views of Everest and the surrounding peaks. After a full breakfast in Namche, we will begin our hiking experience and go toward Tengboche Village. Along the walk, you may stumble across a memorial chorten honoring Tenzing Norgay. We’ll trek the path to Kyangjuma before dropping down to the Dudh Koshi Khola River. When we get at Phunki Thenga, we will cross a hanging bridge and begin the slow rise through the beautiful rhododendron and pine woods. Eventually, we will arrive in Tengboche, which is famous for its monastery and breathtaking mountain scenery. Tonight, we will sleep the night here on this Lobuche Peak Climbing itinerary. We will continue our journey after exploring the Tengboche Monastery in the morning. We will begin our walk by gently descending through conifer and rhododendron forests, then follow the Imja Khola River. After walking for some time, we will reach the scenic Pangboche Village. We will then continue our adventure and pass through Somare Village. Today, we will spend an extra day in Dingboche, getting rest and acclimating our bodies to higher elevations. However, to make our day productive at Dingboche, we will take a side quest hike to Nagarjuna Peak (Nangkartshang Peak). We will commence this side trip after a delicious breakfast in the teahouse. We will reach the top of Nagarjuna Peak Viewpoint after a two- to three-hour steady ascent. From here, you will be rewarded with awe-inspiring, gigantic, snow-clad Himalayas, including Makalu. Thamserku, Kangtega, Taboche, Island Peak, Lobuche East, and others make your side trip worthwhile and unforgettable. On the ninth day of the Lobuche Peak Climbing Package, our journey will take us to Lobuche Village. We will traverse through Yak Kharka and also cross a glacial, clear-water stream. After reaching Dhukla Village, the path becomes steeper, leading to the Dhukla Pass. Once we cross the pass, the route becomes simpler, as it features a gradual ascent to Lobuche Village. Walking through the trek, the ascents of the towering dusted mountains, including Kangtega, Lobuche, Taboche, and Cholatse, will be there to accompany us. Today is one of the most memorable days on our Lobuche Peak climbing trip, where we will set foot on the legendary Everest Base Camp (EBC). Indeed, we will have breakfast and then head directly to our spot to reach the camp, navigating the hardships of steep, stony, and craggy paths to Gorakshep, the last stop before we climb up to EBC. In about two to three hours, we will arrive in Gorakshep, where we will take a brief stop for lunch and leave our heavy luggage behind, as we will return after exploring the Everest Base Camp (EBC). Thereafter, we will traverse the edge of the Khumbu Glacier, following rocky trails. When you reach the Everest Base Camp, you will stand among the earth’s tallest, most breathtaking peaks, including Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Pumori, and others. We go up early to see the renowned sunrise from the Kalapatthar viewpoint, which is 5,545 meters above sea level. The trail to Kalapatthar is difficult and steep, so walk carefully to avoid catastrophes. After reaching the viewpoint, you can see the first ray of light striking the mountains, which will be a truly unforgettable, one-of-a-kind moment in your life. Then, after delighting in the beauty of the sunrise and the sweeping views of the mountains at Kalapatthar, we will walk downhill toward Lobuche Village. You will ultimately notice the changing landscapes from rocky terrain to extensive valleys below. The twelfth day of the Lobuche Peak Climbing adventure marks the start of the climbing phase of your thrilling expedition. We will hit the trails after a mouth-devouring breakfast in the teahouse. We will trek steadily uphill to reach the High Camp. After three to four hours of a gradual climb, we will arrive at High Camp, where we will set up the camp to rest and sleep for tomorrow’s biggest adventure day of your life. We will review essential gear checks and provide a brief training session. Our guide will demonstrate the correct use of mountaineering equipment, safety measures, and basic rope techniques for tomorrow’s summit day. Today is the most awaited day in your entire Lobuche Peak climbing expedition. Before leaving the High Camp, we will eat an early breakfast at midnight. After that, we will begin preparing ahead of the break of day. Ensure you are equipped with all the necessary gear, including crampons, ice axes, and fixed ropes, which will be of great use when climbing Lobuche East peak. Then, we will begin the climb from the southern ridge, traversing the slope and icy terrain. Then, we will tackle some technical sections of the route. You will have to show extra determination and push your limits when climbing. Always follow your instincts and instructions carefully. The teamwork will carry you up to the summit without many problems. As you reach the summit, a powerful wave of emotion will wash over you — a mix of awe, exhaustion, and triumph, with goosebumps rising across your skin. All your physical pain would be forgotten instantly with rewarding views. You will get a close 360-degree view of jaw-dropping mountains that you saw from the ground while trekking, including Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Makalu, and many others. After taking in and celebrating your significant achievement, we will descend back to High Camp. Don’t be careless while descending, as it is just as hard as climbing due to steep slopes. After the demanding summit day yesterday, we will have a relaxed pace trek as we walk from Pheriche Village to Namche Bazaar. However, the route would still include some uphill and downhill sections. You can walk, taking in the beautiful vistas of peaks and surrounding landscapes. We will journey through familiar villages such as Somare, Pangboche, and Phunki Tenga, gaining an understanding of Sherpa culture and lifestyle. We’d arrive to Namche Bazaar in around five or six hours. Tomorrow, we will return to Lukla for our final one-night stay in the Everest region during this Lobuche Peak Climbing expedition. Today is the final day of this Lobuche Peak Climbing expedition in the Khumbu region. We will take the return journey after having a substantial breakfast at the lodge in Namche Bazaar. We will cross several hanging bridges on the way. At Monjo, we will stop for breakfast and then carry on. Then we will go down to Lukla.
